The CertHE STEM (Automotive Engineering) is a one-year, full-time course at our SA1 Waterfront campus. It gives you the core skills needed to succeed in the fast-changing automotive and transport industries. This Level 4 qualification is the ideal first step if you want to work with cars, motorcycles, motorsport, or progress to a full engineering degree.You will study the foundations of mathematics, engineering science, and vehicle technology, while gaining hands-on experience in workshops and labs. Modules cover topics such as motor vehicle engineering science, vehicle design, aerodynamics, and data analysis.
