Zoology with Entrepreneurship - BSc (Hons)

Our BSc Zoology with Entrepreneurship course will enable you to combine science with business skills, a key driver of employability.This course will help you to understand the behaviour, physiology, conservation, ecology and evolution of animals. Zoologists use a wide range of approaches to do this, from applying genetic techniques to observing animal behaviour to using quantitative statistics to answer cutting-edge questions about the natural world.As such, you will study fundamental concepts from a range of disciplines in your first year before going on to study more specialised zoology topics in later years.Field studies form an important part of our teaching and you will attend [field courses](https://www.bmh.manchester.ac.uk/biology/study/undergraduate/enhance/field-courses/) in your first and second years.The entrepreneurship units will be offered via the [Masood Enterprise Centre (MEC)](https://www.entrepreneurship.manchester.ac.uk/) of the [Alliance Manchester Business School](https://www.alliancembs.manchester.ac.uk/) at the University, exposing you to key learning in business innovation. The course also includes a year in industry on a research or business placement.
