What will I learn?

The nationally ranked Environmental Engineering program offers Master of Science candidates access to its long-standing strengths in water and wastewater treatment science and technology, preparing you for careers in industry, government, consulting and academia in the rapidly growing field of environmental engineering. In the master's program, graduate students participate in multidisciplinary research collaborations with peers and faculty in chemical engineering hydrology and atmospheric sciences civil engineering mining and geological engineering and environmental science. Courses cover a breadth of topics. Classes include Water Reuse, Bioremediation on Inorganic Contaminants, Emerging Issues in Water Quality, and Advanced Water and Wastewater Treatment.

Entry requirements

For international students

To be considered eligible to apply for the AMP EnvE, students must:

- Be a continuing University of Arizona undergraduate.

- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30.

- At the time of application, have completed a minimum of 75 units of undergraduate course work; a minimum of 12 undergraduate units must have been completed in the students major at University of Arizonas main campus. Research experience as an undergraduate is not a requirement, but it is desirable.
