What will I learn?

The Department of Administrative Leadership develops the education field’s next generation of change-makers. As an educational leader, you’ll have the vital skills needed to nurture leadership among others in a wide range of elementary, secondary and post-secondary programs, as well as in business and industry. We have two areas of study: Adult, Continuing, and Higher Education Administration, which focuses on post-secondary adult and continuing education leadership and administration at higher education organizations and Educational Administration, which focuses on elementary and secondary educational administration.

Entry requirements

For international students

A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent as determined by the UWM Center on International Education, from a regionally accredited institution.

A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or an equivalent measure on a grading system that does not use a 4.0 scale.

*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
