What will I learn?

The Advertising and Public Relations major prepares students to create meaningful connections between organizations and their audiences. Students learn how to develop strategic campaigns, build strong brands, create compelling content and use research to guide communication decisions. Through hands-on coursework, internships and real-world client projects, students gain experience in writing, design, social media, content creation, campaign planning and analytics. Graduates are prepared for careers in advertising, public relations, marketing, corporate communication, nonprofit communication and brand management.
