This program provides an understanding of the human resources functions that contribute to the success of an organization, including recruiting, developing and retaining employees. You’ll learn the fundamentals of employee recruitment, hiring, benefits, training and development. You’ll explore the ethical, legal and social factors that shape today’s workplace. You’ll also gain an understanding of the state and federal labor codes that companies and organizations must remain in compliance with. This program is available both face-to-face and fully online. The program also offers a Level 1 Certificate in Human Resources Management so you can earn a certificate that prepares you for entry-level career options while you work on your associate degree. An associate degree in human resources management can serve as a foundation for a bachelor's degree in multiple disciplines.
