What will I learn?

Our Plastics Technology Associate Degree program offers a comprehensive education in plastics engineering and manufacturing, blending theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Students explore the fundamental principles of plastics, including chemical composition, properties, and applications of various polymers.The curriculum covers material science, polymer chemistry, and sustainable practices, emphasizing eco-friendly materials and recycling processes. Hands-on training in modern labs with industry-standard machinery prepares students for roles in injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding, among other processes.Quality control and testing are key components, with training in material testing and compliance with industry standards. Students work on real-world projects and gain professional experience through internships, preparing them for careers as process technicians, quality control specialists, and product development assistants.
