B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations

USA

What will I learn?

Home to hundreds of agencies and client companies representing some of the world’s most recognizable brands, Chicago is a major hub for advertising and public relations, second only to New York. Loyola’s close proximity to both major agencies and the brands they represent, gives students the opportunity to get first-hand exposure to the industry. Working Ad/PR professionals routinely visit Loyola to give presentations, attend professional panels, and provide career guidance to our students. Many faculty members are also Ad/PR professionals, ensuring students learn relevant, real-world applications. Our downtown location also lets students take advantage of internships, networking events, and other learning experiences with the many agencies, media companies, businesses, and non-profit organizations in the area. As part of this program, students choose to follow an advertising, public relations, or integrated focus.
