The profession of accounting is constantly growing and changing-in theory and practice-and comprises areas such as financial reporting, auditing, cost and managerial accounting, taxation, internal control and risk assessment, forensic accounting and data analytics, to name a few. In today’s world, accountants play a significant role as part of senior management, or are consultants and business advisors to senior management when working for professional service firms. Employers are competing with one another to hire fresh accounting graduates.
