What will I learn?

The construction engineering technology (CET) program is a blend of civil engineering technology and construction business management. The program combines construction, engineering and management in a practice-oriented education that leads to a rewarding career in which graduates exercise their skills, experience and knowledge to construct buildings and infrastructure nationwide. At UMaine, the average construction engineering technology course enrolls 30 students. More than 98 percent of CET majors work in engineering or construction during the summer. Employers come from across the country recruit program graduates.Same Great Program as CMTThe construction engineering technology (CET) program at the University of Maine is the same great program that was formerly called Construction Management Technology (CMT). The name was changed so that the program could continue to be accredited under the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET (abet.org) Construction Engineering criteria.
