What will I learn?

The undergraduate curriculum in Industrial Engineering leads to the Bachelor of Science degree. The Industrial Engineering Program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the commission’s ''General Criteria and Program Criteria for Industrial and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.'' Industrial engineering is a versatile engineering profession that improves processes to help people around the world. Industrial engineers integrate technical expertise with business acumen and effectual people skills. They improve processes, organizations, and integrated systems of materials, methods, equipment, information, energy, transportation, and people by reducing waste and increasing quality, safety, and productivity. You will learn how to include the human element in technical problem solving to improve processes in any industry. All industries employ industrial engineers, including, but not limited to, manufacturing, healthcare, entertainment, supply chain, banking, energy, and transportation.

Entry requirements

For international students

High school GPA requirement: Equivalent to a minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. For more information on equivalency calculations. Core course requirements: Along with the GPA requirement, students must complete a minimum set of high school core courses, including four years of English (or their native language), three years of science with at least two years of laboratory science in biology, chemistry, and/or physics, three years of mathematics including algebra and geometry, and two years of social studies.
