Today’s communication specialists are required to understand how to use a variety of different technologies including incorporating text, audio, video, illustration, photography and graphic design to communicate effectively on the Internet and across a variety of platforms. Graduates of the Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media and Journalism program at Lewis University will have the skills to meet the growing demand of well-rounded creative and technology-savvy professionals.
The program offers two concentrations: Journalism and Media Web Design.
CONCENTRATIONS
The Journalism concentration combines print, online and broadcast news courses. Courses pair traditional journalism skills with digital media skills to create newsworthy, audience-centric stories.
The Media Web Design concentration combines communication and computer graphic design courses. Courses are designed to teach students how to create content for the digital media world.

Applicants must have graduated from an approved high school with a combination of grade point average, class rank, and ACT or SAT score which indicates a strong likelihood of success in university studies.
Applicants must have accumulated 18 high school units. Three of those units should be in English; the remaining 15 units should be chosen from a college preparatory curriculum.

IELTS - Minimum 6.5; TOEFL IBT - Minimum 79; PTE-A - Minimum 52; Duolingo Academic - Minimum 105.
