At the University of San Francisco, you’ll start with core courses like Introduction to Global Studies, Global Political Economy, and Research Methods, along with a Community-Engaged Learning course such as the Global Studies Internship. You’ll take at least one course under our Thematic headings, Global Governance, Environment and Sustainability, and Culture, Power, and Social Movements, before focusing on upper-division electives that let you specialize in the global issues that inspire you most.
