Pursue the growing field of public relations, where writing, visual and digital communication techniques help corporations, agencies and other organizations build relationships online and in-person with the media, consumers, employees and other target audiences. Students may take advanced courses such as new and emerging media and research in strategic communication. Students participate in public relations campaigns courses, creating projects for local organizations as well as national competitions, such as Bateman and the National Organ Donor Awareness Campaign Competition through the Public Relations Student Society of America.
