What will I learn?

Graduates of the BBA in Accounting Program develop a keen understanding of current accounting and management theories, and their practical applications in business today. Working closely with a renowned faculty from diverse professional backgrounds, BBA in Accounting students benefit from a rigorous course of study aimed at helping them obtain the technical and professional skills needed for success. Students with a BBA in Accounting Degree can also complete additional coursework to qualify for professional certifications including the Texas CPA Exam.The Department of Accounting offers students majoring in accounting the opportunity to earn both their BBA in accounting and their master of accountancy simultaneously. This unique program allows you to complete your undergrad and graduate degree much quicker than completing them consecutively.

First-time college applicants are required to graduate or have graduated from a foreign secondary school with an academic profile equivalent to that of a U.S. high school curriculum.Graduate with the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.When reviewing your application, Texas State will consider your high school curriculum, admission essay(s), extracurricular involvement, leadership, community service, work experience, quality and competitive level of courses taken and grades earned, in addition to other factors presented in your application.We strongly encourage anyone who is not offered freshman admission to attend another college, complete 30 hours of transferable credit with a minimum GPA of a 2.25, and apply for transfer admission.IELTS (academic) - overall scores required 6.5 and minimum individual module scores of 6.0TOEFL iBT - overall scores 78
