The Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies program offers specialized instruction in design, building science, and the history and theory of architecture. The mission of the program is to prepare graduates with the intellectual foundation and creative discipline needed for advanced study in architecture or related design fields.The Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies (B.S.A.S.) program provides a comprehensive, four-year pre-professional education in the fundamentals of architecture. Organized into two stages-Pre-Architecture (years one and two) and Architecture (years three and four)-the program emphasizes design, building science, history, theory, and technology. Students may enter the program directly as freshmen or transfer from other institutions to complete upper-division studies.
