Diving into the world of biology is an immersive, hands-on experience that lends itself to a satisfying career in myriad professions, with an emphasis on preparing students for graduate or professional school. Biology is, quite simply, the study of life. The Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Organismal Biology offers broad training in biological systems -components, biological molecules, cells, organisms, communities and entire ecosystems. Students learn about the biological processes that organize such systems and allow for development and evolution. The program includes the study of genetics, biochemistry, ecology and evolution.
