BGSU has one of the biggest and best teacher education programs in Ohio. Our teaching faculty in the adolescence to young adult education (AYA) bachelor’s program shares your enthusiasm for education. We can’t wait to share all the tools you’ll need to be a successful teacher. Our curriculum emphasizes human relations skills, innovative instructional methods and effective approaches for working with students in urban, suburban and rural school settings. The AYA bachelor’s degree program qualifies you to apply for a license to teach middle school and high school students in grades 7-12 in a single subject area. You will be well prepared with this secondary education degree to make a lasting impact.
