Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology in Electronics Engineering Technology - Computer and Embedded Systems

USA

What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSET) in Electronics Engineering Technology with a Computer and Embedded Systems emphasis prepares students for careers in the electronics industry by combining electronics, computer programming, microcomputer systems, digital logic, and embedded technology. Students develop practical skills in computer programming for electronic systems, microcomputer architecture, programmable logic devices, advanced microcontrollers, digital signal processing, and electronic circuit design. The program also provides hands-on laboratory experience and culminates in a two-semester senior capstone project, where students design and develop a market-relevant prototype while gaining experience in product development, project management, system specifications, and product validation. This combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience prepares graduates to work with computer-based electronic systems and embedded technologies across a wide range of industries.
