the BSET in Electronics Engineering Technology – Custom Emphasis at Pittsburg State University is designed to give students a flexible electronics engineering technology education by allowing them to build an individualized area of specialization. The program provides a strong foundation in DC and AC circuit analysis, logic circuits, electronic devices, computer programming, signals and systems, microcomputer systems, analog integrated circuits, instrumentation, electric power, and electronics technology. Students can customize their studies through approved electives in areas such as automation, programmable logic devices, advanced microprocessors, networking and information security, mechanical systems, mathematics, physics, manufacturing, and engineering technology. The program also includes hands-on laboratory experiences, cooperative education opportunities, and a two-semester senior capstone in which students develop, prototype, manage, and validate a technology-based project. This flexible structure allows students to tailor their studies toward their specific technical and career interests while developing practical skills for the electronics and engineering technology industries.

Entry requirements

Complete official transcripts or academic records in native language and official English translation including grades earned in each subject.Copy of the secondary school or high school certificate of completion or diploma, if applicable. Current certified bank statement or financial guarantee (within 6 months), Financial Statement of Support form, Delivery Method form, Copy of passport, All official documents (original or certified copies) must be mailed directly to Pittsburg State University. Official transcripts must be received direct from the issuing school in a sealed envelop. A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in an accredited international post secondary institution (college/university)
