To begin, you'll need a strong foundation in human anatomy, microbiology, physiology, nutrition, and statistics. That's why the prerequisites for this program include biological, social, physical, and behavioral sciences. The rest of your curriculum will build on that foundation. For instance, you'll take leadership courses and nursing skills development courses, as well as classes that cover health care and information technology.
