What will I learn?

The Field Management emphasis prepares students to manage personnel, materials, and equipment on a job site while maintaining close communication with clients throughout the project's life cycle. Students develop the skills needed to effectively address questions and concerns regarding project progress. Through coursework, students also learn to be budget-conscious by identifying opportunities to reduce costs, minimize wasteful practices, and increase efficiency on construction projects.
