What will I learn?

Beyond the Graduate School standards the Computer Science minimum requirements for consideration are as follows. In addition to the Graduate School’s minimum requirements for master’s degrees the following requirements must be satisfied for MS degree in Computer Science. Coursework used to satisfy the degree requirements is also subject to the following restrictions The MS thesis or MS project committee will consist of at least three 3 faculty. A strict majority of the committee must be full time faculty in Computer Science and the committee must be chaired or co chaired by a faculty member in Computer Science. As per the Graduate School all committee members must hold the required level of graduate faculty status and no more than one external graduate faculty member may serve on the committee.

Entry requirements

For international students

Baccalaureate Degree The applicant must provide an unofficial transcript showing that a U.S. bachelors degree or its equivalent was awarded by an accredited college or university or is expected to be awarded within one term. If accepted to the University of Memphis the student must provide an official transcript by the end of their first semester. In addition transcripts from any other college or university attended may be requested. Only transcripts received directly from an issuing institution are considered official. Personal copies are not acceptable as official documents. If you are a UofM undergraduate student applying to Graduate School at UofM you do not need to request that an official transcript be sent to Graduate Admissions. 2.75 4.0 cumulative GPA. Departments may set higher standards.
