In the Educational Leadership doctoral program, you will apply theory and research to leadership issues in complex organizations, including schools, district offices, community centers and policy organizations. You will enhance your ability to improve outcomes in your organization by learning to tackle challenging educational problems through case studies, simulations, group activities and individual projects. Your capstone project will be a dissertation in practice examining a problem you have identified in the context of your professional practice. You will be prepared for a range of educational leadership roles such as teacher-leader, principal and superintendent. The program begins in the summer term.
