This is offered in the form of its DVM/MBA degree, an MBA in Multi-Sector Health Management (MBA-MHM) curriculum taught with the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) curriculum. This thirty-four (34) credit program can help improve students’ business skills while promoting an understanding of the complexities of operating a veterinary practice. The DVM/MBA Program has a distinctive holistic approach, providing knowledge that reaches across both disciplines and sectors. Doctors of Veterinary Medicine must learn new skills in animal care throughout their careers while managing staff, assessing financial performance, marketing their practice, and addressing information technology needs.
