What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Arts in Geography focuses on understanding and addressing environmental and social challenges through two options: Environmental Studies and Landscape Studies. Students develop knowledge of environmental policy, planning, conservation, sustainability, climate change, physical and human geography, landforms, vegetation, urban development, and migration. The program also emphasizes hands-on and field-based learning, helping students apply geographical knowledge to real-world environmental and social issues and prepare for careers in sustainable planning, conservation, environmental management, and related fields.

Entry requirements

For international students

International students applying for freshman admission must have graduated from a college-preparatory high school program and must not have completed or attempted any college or university coursework after high school graduation. Applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B) on the U.S. 4.0 grading scale. SAT or ACT scores are not required for admission, although submitting higher-level test scores may help students qualify for higher-level English and/or mathematics courses.
