What will I learn?

The Advanced Transportation Engineering (ATE) certificate will provide our students with the opportunity to develop an enhanced understanding of the transportation engineering field. The goal is to prepare them to practice in this more specialized field.This program prepares individuals to apply mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development and operational evaluation of total systems for the physical movement of people, materials and information, including general network design and planning, facilities planning, site evaluation, transportation management systems, needs projections and analysis, and analysis of costs.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must meet all basic University of Arizona requirements for undergraduate engineering program admission. In addition, they must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale at their undergraduate institution.
