Graduate Certificate in Reading Endorsement

The Reading Endorsement Certificate program prepares educators for the Ohio K-12 Reading Endorsement. The sequence of four courses provides theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to provide evidence-based reading and writing instruction and intervention. By completing this certificate, students will complete required coursework to apply for the Ohio K-12 Reading Endorsement. and be prepared to take the Ohio Assessments for Educators necessary to add the endorsement to their professional teaching license. Following completion of the certificate, courses may be applied to the M.Ed. degree in reading if the student has obtained regular admission to the Graduate College
