What will I learn?

The University of Akron’s Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration – Accelerated Nursing Track is ideal for students who want to develop both administrative and clinical expertise. This unique pathway is designed for those new to health care or seeking career advancement through a fast, efficient, and high-impact program. Health care administration professionals work closely with clinical and administrative teams to manage and improve health care delivery. Through this program, students build a strong foundation in both the business and clinical aspects of the field preparing for leadership roles and direct care responsibilities. About the Accelerated Nursing Track Students complete their first three years in the Health Care Administration major and then transition into a 15-month accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. This pathway provides a streamlined route to becoming a registered nurse, while also equipping graduates with the administrative skills needed for supervisory and leadership roles in health care.
