What will I learn?

This program leading to a Master of Arts in Elementary Education is for elementary school teachers. Students complete foundation courses in education and in curriculum and instruction, and an area of concentration such as literacy, multicultural, middle, or elementary education. As a culminating activity, students apply theory to practice in their area of concentration through creative critical thinking.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applications to the masters program in Elementary Education with Literacy Option must be completed and submitted at least six weeks (domestic) or six months (international) before the beginning of the term for which admission is sought to allow for adequate processing time. Students must have a 2.5 or higher undergraduate cumulative grade point average to be fully admitted.
