What will I learn?

The Brass Faculty at UNM provides over 150 years combined experience in music performing, teaching, arranging, recording, and producing.Faculty members have appeared with such prestigious groups as the Summit Brass, Santa Fe Opera, Colorado Symphony, Army Jazz Ambassadors, Baltimore Symphony, Dallas Symphony, and the Indianapolis Symphony and have taught at such renowned institutions as the Royal Northern Conservatory, Indiana University, Arizona State University and the University of Illinois.

Entry requirements

For international students

A candidate for the Master of Music degree must have an undergraduate degree in music from an accredited college or equivalent proficiency. An applicant without a music degree will be required to take a proctored test before being admitted; he or she may have to do undergraduate work before becoming a graduate student.A minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a U.S. 4.0 scale) or comparable grade point average in upper-division (junior and senior level) work and in any graduate work already completed
