Master of Science in Physics - Materials Science (Non-Thesis)

Physics and Materials Science is a broad and complex field that uses mathematical models to explain the nature and behavior of all manner of physical systems from the smallest particles inside the nucleus to the entire universe in which we live. The department also has a graduate program at the master and doctoral levels. The master s degree program has concentrations in General Physics Computational Physics and Materials Science. Our Engineering Physics PhD concentration is offered through the Herff College of Engineering PhD program. Sufficient additional courses 12 credit hours in collateral field of study with course numbers 6000 or above to satisfy a minimum of 33 semester hours. These courses must be approved by the graduate advisor.
