What will I learn?

The pharmaceutical sciences graduate course is designed to give learners a strong background in modern theoretical principles in their specialization and application through research.Medicinal Chemistry offers learners the opportunity to study and gain expertise in drug design and synthesis of new drug molecules, modification of existing drug molecules, development of methodologies for analyzing drug molecules and metabolites, and methods for predicting drug action based upon chemical structure. Scientists can also investigate drug molecules' mechanism of action and routes of metabolism.

Entry requirements

For international students

The Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Program welcomes applications from students who hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education with an earned Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or better in the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate work or hold a graduate degree in a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Applicants must have a combined score of 300 on the GRE.
