What will I learn?

Become a top-notch educator with the Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. By completing this program, you can earn a Michigan Standard Teaching Certificate in a variety of subject areas at the grades 6-12, 7-12, or 5-9 level. You can also add additional teachable areas to become one of the most prepared and marketable teaching candidates in Michigan when you graduate. When completing the Secondary Education program, you will focus on mastering your subject area(s), learning exciting and cutting-edge techniques to teach the material (pedagogy), and practicing your craft while completing your clinical experiences, which are woven throughout your program. In addition to becoming a highly prepared & qualified educator, you will also prepare to pass your teacher certification test and become a certified teacher in Michigan.
