What will I learn?

As a business teacher, you’ll play an important role in helping students learn concepts of accounting, computer applications, management, computer science and web design. At the University of Central Missouri, our accredited Secondary Education program, with focus on Business Teacher Education, offers strategies for creating an exciting and interactive curriculum that keeps students engaged. Learn how a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from UCM can help you gain the experience, skills and credentials you need to teach tomorrow’s business leaders. UCM is the state’s only public institution with a comprehensive Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. Completing your Business Teacher degree through UCM will provide you with a comprehensive background in all aspects of CTE to become a well-rounded educator and a leader in the field. You’ll also understand how your future career fits into a bigger picture. Our faculty, who have all served as CTE teachers, know first-hand what you’ll need to be successful in a high school classroom.
