Old Dominion University offers a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. This program is designed to provide graduates with the professional skills necessary to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Additionally, graduates will emerge with a strong grasp of ethical conduct, research principles in an evidence-based clinical practice, and professional skills necessary to become compassionate advocates for people with communication and swallowing disorders.

Entry requirements
For international students
Two step application process with a February 1 deadline each year. Admission decisions take place after March 1.Apply through Communication Sciences and Disorders Centralized Application System (CSDCAS). All documents (transcripts, letters, essay) are to be submitted to CSDCAS by February 1 of each year.Students then must go to the ODU graduate application system to complete a secondary application form and submit unofficial transcripts to ODU. No additional documents are needed with the ODU application.
