Students will work on developing their portfolios as part of their coursework. The advertising creative certificate program is designed to provide additional advanced course options for students in advertising, interdisciplinary art and design, or communication design who are seeking careers as art directors or in creative agencies. The certificate is not a separate major track, but rather an extension of the standard required coursework offered by the advertising concentration of the journalism major.
