For qualifying applicants, the IFY Excellence Scholarship is worth £2,500 for one year of study on the IFY programme starting from September 2026. Self-funded IFY students who achieve good grades may have access to further scholarships - including the Global Gold Excellence Scholarship and Global Silver Excellence Scholarship when they progress to their undergraduate programmes.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be self-funding and applying for the International Foundation Year. You must have achieved (as a minimum) the following grades, depending on your qualification.
For all other qualifications, eligibility is assessed by the Admissions team on a case-by-case basis according to academic merit. The Admissions team will assess your eligibility upon receipt of your application.
