I haven’t enjoyed my studies at Heriot-Watt University and feel so dissatisfied with the learning and teaching that has been provided! After spending hundreds of pounds on books so I can try and help myself learn.  I feel let down as a student and having to learn from YouTube and seek private lessons I am still wondering why I picked this course. Well, because of the ranking. I was certainly wrong.

I was worried about the acceptance of my distance learning degree, but it was accepted without question by my fortune 100 employer and it was sufficient to gain me admission into an Oxford MSc program. There is no better endorsement than that!

Definitely worth it!

I have an undergraduate degree (Bachelors of Arts) from one of the Ivy League colleges in the USA.  I chose to pursue an MBA at Heriot Watt's Edinburgh Business School.  Not only were the courses excellent, they were really good value for the money.  I'm pleased to say that after completing my MBA, I went to work at a new company in a role with greater responsibility.  I truly believe the postgraduate degree from Heriot Watt was the deciding factor in the company's offer.

Excellent and well balanced program

The courses were very well structured. The advanced courses such as strategy, provided a well integrated picture of all models and areas learned.
The MBA program provided a sereies of tolls I'm stil using in my job as VP of Customer Services.

Heriot Watt University is a great University where I enjoy very much my study time. The Team of the University is very supportive and the examples in the single courses are always up-to-date. HWU deserve to be announced as one of the best Universities in the UK.

not bad, however, some facilities are very old, and library have less book that expected. some courses that I've taken were not well organized and didn't achieve its objective due to week labs and weak lecturer. I remember we stock in one lesson which expected to finish in one week, however, it took about a month. this was in E-commerce course

The module contents are of international standard

The computing facilities are of international standard. The module contents are of international standard and it reflects what the industries require. The lecturers are very good, they will guide you but, you must develop a habit of individual research which i realised is very important as a professional. Almost all the degree programmes are accreditated by the relevant professional bodies. The university environment is just beautiful.
