JHS Business Management and International Relations
I have done an UG programme at the University of Derby. During my studies I have also done a placement year which greatly improved my career opportunities. Both lecturers and support staff proved to be helpful and approachable. Assessments really well structured and clear understanding of what the lecturers expects, what the learning outcomes are. Classes were enjoyable and the library facilities were great, with a number of ''private'' which can allow you to focus and feel like home when studying.

ACADEMIC WRITING SKILLS
The university's academic writing skills makes one to really get involved with his or her assessments. I wish I had known about some of these skills, I wouldn't have struggled so much on my first assessments. Thanks to university library study skills department for their help, as I hope to do well in my forthcoming assessments. With this and other services rendered in the library I could say I enjoy library resources and also the university free unibus.

Well Qualified Lecturers
Sponsored by the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, I came to The University of Derby to study BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance. Through hard work and excellent resources at Derby, I managed to achieve a First Class Honours degree. I would like to take this opportunity to say how very qualified the lecturers are at the University of Derby. In particular I want to mention Hilary Coyle, she is aware that it is difficult for international students to get a First and I really appreciate all her help, support and motivation. Through sharing her own personal experiences Hilary has shown me that nothing is impossible.

Encouraging Faculty
I came from Lithuania along with my friend Ugne to study University of Derby’s BA (Hons) Animation course, which I successfully completed this summer (2013). We have been very active during the course, undertaking commercial animation and illustration contracts, as well as setting up own business. Shortly before completing the degrees we were approached by the University to create an animated TV commercial to spearhead the current student recruitment campaign, entitled ‘Are You Ready?’ This has been a very important project for us and for the company. This will be our first nationally broadcast TV commercial. The University has shown real faith in us

The course was of real interest
I love everything about the course. The tutors are amazing and the University offers everything a student could need, including excellent labs and well-structured modules. Since I arrived here the staff in the International Student Centre (ISC) have been extremely helpful. From picking me and the other students up from the airport, to helping us with everything we could possibly need. The staff in the ISC have always made themselves available to us, helping us with any problem we may encounter. That, along with the welcome I received from tutors and other students, made me feel very welcomed and safe.
