Great time studying in the University of Sheffield
It was a great experience. I loved the programme, the city and life there. I met so many friends during a year of my Masters, always so many events and societies. Studies were challenging, yet interesting. I learn so much new, and studying in University of Sheffield definitely helped in my career.

AMAZING
I think the most important thing is to get out there and try as many things as you can in Sheffield and what the university offers as a list is not comprehensive of the amount of activities that you can do. In addition, do not be shy and meet as many people as you can as you may never know, you may make friends for life. I would also suggest that you keep on top with your work as though there are many activities you can get involved in, your number one priority should be your health and studies.

A taste of Sheffield
I am fortunate enough to have many opportunities presented by the University of Sheffield in terms of their career services and their legal fairs as I am currently an undergraduate in law. I would advice a new student to have an open mind and keep all your options open, never be afraid to try something new and open up boundaries!

International Student - University Review
Time spent in university in a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The University of Sheffield is a great place to be, specially to study engineering. Moreover, the city itself is an interesting place to live in. It isn't that hard to settle in and the university also offers a wide range of top-notch facilities (Best Students' Union of the UK, one of the best library facilities across the UK, etc). In addition to this, The University of Sheffield is not a campus university, which means you get to walk around time from one building to another, which at times is quite enjoyable. One of the things I like is the proximity of Sheffield to the Peak District, where one could go for long walks, hikes or bicycle rides and enjoy a breathtaking scenery.

Too many Chinese students
There are too many Chinese students and I am feeling like that university put home and international students in different accommadations on purpose. Therefore, we do not have enough time to communicate with home students. And the arrangement of the course is unreasonable.

the study here is pretty different to what i expected. since the subject is law, it is mainly about studying alone and rarely few of team works. if i have to give any advice, i'd say, sheffield is a good city and the university of sheffield is good university but london would be better city to learn more about this country and culture.

You will remember the North.
I'm still wishing I can go back, and this is a year after returning to my home university. Ideally, if managed well, the program at the University of Sheffield is set up so that you produce the highest possible quality of work. Also, faculty members and professors are all very friendly and want to help out. The vibe given off by the city itself is what I miss the most, and I don't think it can be replicated by any other city. I can't really describe it, but if I'm yearning to be back a year later, it has to be something special. Furthermore, having this international schooling experience on your CV has raised some interesting questions from job interviews, which is a perk. Overall, I'd definitely recommend a trip overseas.
