There are so many things I love about studying in Australia, but what stands out the most is the lifestyle balance. As an international student, moving to the Gold Coast to pursue my Master of Finance at Bond University has been a life-changing experience, and not just academically.
At Bond, the campus is genuinely stunning, and I love how many beautiful outdoor spots we have for studying or just taking a break in the sun. The weather is amazing year-round, and being able to study outside, grab a coffee, and feel the ocean breeze between classes makes everything feel lighter and more enjoyable, even during busy exam weeks.
Another great part is the welcoming and diverse community. As a mum and someone starting a new chapter in a different country, I’ve felt incredibly supported here. Professors at Bond are approachable, classmates come from all over the world, and there’s a real sense of belonging. It’s a multicultural environment where I get to learn from people with different backgrounds, while also connecting with Aussies and understanding more about Australian culture.

What I enjoy most about studying in Australia, from my perspective and experience at Bond University, is the incredible opportunities I have received throguhout my studies. At Bond, there are so many ways to get invovled— from giving tours to prospective students to participating in clubs and societies. I am someone who loves being engaged, and having the chance to be so invovled in the Bond community is the perfect opportunity to learn, grow as a person, and expand my network.
Additionally, the work-life balance at Bond has been wonderful. The campus is located in Varisty Lake, right next to the lake itself. I often go for walks to de-stress and relax, enjoying the sounds of birds chirping and spotting the occasional adorable ducks!
I also love visiting the nearby beaches to enjoy the sand and water. It’s amazing to have the beach just a short ride away, making it easy to unwind and recharge.
Nature here is beautiful. Definetly enjoying all of these items that are included in the package!
