What will I learn?

Our one-year Post-Degree Diploma in Human Resource Management gives you the highly specialized human resources courses needed to start a career in the HR industry. You’ll take courses in human resource management, training, development and performance management, labour relations, management essentials, employment law and more. Work experience while you study The Career Boost program prepares you for volunteer or part-time paid positions that complement your studies. You’ll learn writing tips for job applications, build leadership and public speaking skills and meet one-on-one with employers in your industry. Once you graduate, the Career Centre will continue to help you until you are employed full-time.Career opportunities include:Administrator, Staff Relations Case Manager, Disability Employee Benefits Manager Employee/Labour Relations Advisor Employment Interviewer or Supervisor HR Adviser, Staffing Adviser/Analyst HR Generalist - Benefits HRIS Specialist Human Resources Administrator Human Resources and Recruitment Officers

Entry requirements

For international students

British Columbia secondary school graduation or equivalent; One course short of British Columbia secondary school graduation, or equivalent; Nineteen (19) years of age or older on the first day of the first semester of attendance; Seventeen (17) years of age on the first day of the first semester of attendance, and has not been enrolled at a school for a minimum of one year; Completion of a certificate or equivalent from a special needs program and has been in school for 12 years, or has received an Evergreen or Leaving School CertificateApplicants must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada or an equivalent credential from an approved institution of a different country.
