This course is about biologically inspired algorithms, their relationship to living biological intelligence and the nature of consciousness itself. Some modules overlap with the main computer science degree, so you get the same solid grounding in the fundamentals. In your second year you'll experience the processes of engineering a real software system for a real client in a competitive environment.The main focus of your final year is a dissertation project, where you’ll enjoy scope for creative and intellectual exploration.
