What will I learn?

Organisations increasingly rely on data to inform decisions about their people. This MSc Human Resource Management & People Analytics responds directly to that shift, equipping you with the skills to combine HR expertise with data‑driven insight.The course brings together core human resource management (HRM) with practical analytical training. You’ll learn how to analyse and interpret workforce data, and how to translate evidence into effective people strategies that address real organisational challenges.You’ll study within Strathclyde Business School's Department of Work, Employment & Organisation, one of the UK’s leading centres for HRM research, including the Scottish Centre for Employment Research. Teaching also draws on expertise from across the University, giving you exposure to areas such as data analytics and machine learning.Designed for both recent graduates and working professionals, the programme supports careers in HR, people analytics and organisational development.As a triple‑accredited business school with strong industry links, Strathclyde combines research‑led teaching with practical application – preparing you to use data confidently and ethically in people management roles.

Entry requirements

For international students

Minimum 2:2 degree in a field relevant to studying human resource management and people analytics.

Previous experience of data analysis or coding (for example Python) is desirable but not required.
