Student testimonial: “It took just 3 weeks to get an admission offer from La Trobe University”

When Shebaul Sebastian started thinking of studying overseas, he didn’t imagine he’ll get an offer from an institute abroad within next 3 weeks. What started on a passive note for him around May, this year, slowly resulted into a well-structured plan.

There were two major obstacles for Shebaul to overcome: first, he didn’t have his passport ready and second, many people, including his college’s International Academic Collaboration Cell, had advised him to wait for a year for his overseas studies. This meant Shebaul had to shut down his thoughts of studying abroad this year.

But, Shebaul lucked out!

He considers himself fortunate that he sought help from Hotcourses India at the right moment. Counsellors at HC India encouraged him to work hard and file his applications for the July intake, though he was short on time.

Soon after he approached us, his applications were sent to shortlisted universities, and within 3 weeks he received an offer from La Trobe University. Now, he is a proud postgraduate student of Chemical Sciences at the University’s Department of Chemistry and Physics.

Shebaul says: “The reason I received an offer from the University, in such a short time, is because of the effort that my counsellor, Miss Ramya, had put in.”
