St. Clair College is a public community college, established in 1967, and is home to more than 8,500 students across three unique campuses in Canada.
St. Clair’s main Windsor campus offers students world-class amenities such as the 80,000 square foot SportsPlex and the 10,000 square foot fitness center, and much more. St. Clair is surrounded by beautiful waterfront landscapes, lakes, and rivers, with campuses based in the most southern part of Canada.
The college offers 100 programs of study in areas including business and information technology, health sciences, engineering technologies, community studies, media, art and design. Since 2004, St. Clair has invested over CAD 1.24 million in new classroom technology, computer labs, and study spaces. Recently, the college spent CAD 3.7 million on its student center expansion, which means more space for students to meet and study. St. Clair also enjoys an employer satisfaction rating of 88.7 percent and a graduate employment rate of 84 percent.
St. Clair College students excel when they hit the job market. 87.5 percent find employment within six months of graduating, according to Key Performance Indicators survey. This is higher than the average in the province, which is 86.2 percent. The college also rated higher than average in most categories.
Additionally, 84 percent of graduates from St. Clair College said they were satisfied with the quality of teaching they received and that their programs equipped them with the necessary skills and knowledge for their careers. Six months after graduation, 82.8 percent of graduates surveyed expressed they were still highly satisfied.
During their time at the college, and as part of the alumni network, students can receive support with their job searches and career paths. The Career Center is based at both the Windsor and Chatham campuses offering resume advice, interview preparation, job search techniques and more. It also hosts workshops, employer events and job fairs.
Students will now have access to top sporting facilities at the new St. Clair College Sports Park. It will feature specialized spaces and equipment for indoor tennis, softball, and volleyball, as well as a 1,500-seat soccer field that has artificial turf and a digital scoreboard.
The development is overseen by the Student Athletic Association and the Student Representative Council. It has received lots of support from the community, including a sponsorship from the Barry and Stephanie Zekelman Foundation and the CEO of Dominos Canada.
Cisco has recognized St. Clair College as its top partner in North America, as 1,680 students enrolled with the program in 2018 alone. As well as this, St. Clair’s computer networking program has one of the best rates of enrolled females in Cisco-certified programs in Canada.

The Canadian Academic English Language computer edition (CAEL CE) is the main academic English language test for studying in Canada. It’s accepted by all major institutions that instruct in English.
The CAEL CE system supports international students who wish to study in Canada and provides two scholarships worth CAD 5,000 each. One is awarded to an international student who is already studying in Canada, the other to an international student who currently studies overseas.

International students must meet a number of requirements to study at St. Clair College. They will also require a Canadian Study Permit to study in Canada, which they can apply for after receiving a Letter of Acceptance from the college.

At St. Clair College, students receive an in-depth academic experience supported by experienced faculty and modern learning environments. Since 2004, over CAD 1.24 million has been invested in academic upgrades which has improved equipment, classrooms, labs and more.
St. Clair is the largest post-secondary health sciences educator in the province, and its Center for Applied Health Sciences demonstrates the college’s excellence. The center is a 100,000 square foot mock-up of a real hospital, with specialized labs for cardiovascular, ultrasound and respiratory therapy, as well as patient-care suites, a dental clinic and a pharmacy.
The college is dedicated to providing a fair and inclusive educational environment. The Center of Academic Excellence ensures all faculty members continue their knowledge and skill development, so students have the best learning experience possible.
St. Clair College specializes in health sciences, engineering technologies, community studies, liberal arts and sciences, business and information technology, art, media and design. Students can study full-time or part-time. There are over 100 undergraduate, post-graduate, diploma and certificate programs to choose from.
The college offers the opportunity to train and learn a skill through an apprenticeship. This means students can become certified in their trade through learning both at college and on the job. Programs can last two to five years, but students earn a wage and are already in the workforce before they graduate. Apprenticeships are overseen by the Ontario College of Trades (OCT).
Through the Ace Acumen Academy (AAA), St. Clair’s international students have the chance to study their academic programs in Toronto. Programs are tailored to the needs of international students, offering a unique metropolitan learning experience.
This is an intensive English language pathway program where non-native English-speaking students develop their writing, reading, listening and speaking skills. It has an academic focus, and if completed successfully, students can directly enter a post-secondary program at the college.
