The qualification produces data scientists or data engineers with high level skills and knowledge to code, analyse and solve complex data related problems using computing, mathematical and statistical techniques and automate the results to enhance business intelligence.
An individual in this role can analyse or develop or automate software solutions to solve complex data problems. An individual can use techniques of data collection, exploration and analysis, machine learning, statistics and mathematics and deployment in data related problem solving and generate useful insights.
Specialist functions and Skills Additionally, graduates of the course will be able to perform the following functions and specialist tasks:
Develop and apply knowledge in a broad range of methods based on statistics and computing and use these for problem solving and business intelligence.
Identify and use approaches to automate the results from predictive modelling for generating useful insights for data related problems.
Use appropriate methods, tools and techniques for generating valuable insights for business optimisation.
