What will I learn?

This major explores the social, political and environmental implications of human impacts and global environmental changes. You will examine major environmental issues, human impacts and key climate mechanisms and apply this knowledge towards more sustainable environmental and resource management. Students are given the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in climatology, physics, statistics and mathematics, environmental science, ecology and conservation, natural resource management and sustainability. Compliment your environment and sustainability focus with a double major or minor in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science or Interntional Relations allowing you to explore other global developments.Graduates may gain employment across a range of sectors, communities, and industries, and are equipped to work in a diverse range of workplaces including across governments and NGOs in policy and planning, community development and education, advocacy, and land management agencies.
