What will I learn?

Digital media and web designers shape the way we connect, communicate and engage with the digital world. Whether you’re shopping online, scrolling through your feed, or streaming the latest TV show – your experience has been carefully curated by designers with the user in mind. Channel your creativity across areas like digital marketing, e-commerce and visual storytelling. Design new digital platforms that are intuitive and user centred. Communicate visual content with impact. Our Bachelor of Creative Arts majoring in Digital Media and Web Design prepares you for a creative career as a design professional in the digital space. You’ll explore user experience design principles and examine a variety of digital media to understand how and why audiences engage with digital platforms. You’ll learn to manage projects, design interfaces, websites and new interactive experiences, and build your own professional portfolio. You’ll also consider ethical concepts and how online platforms affect social, cultural and political systems. Connect with leading creative organisations throughout your degree and gain hands-on experience through internships and industry projects. Collaborate with students across other creative disciplines to solve real-world problems for an industry client. Combine your major in Digital Media and Web Design with a second, complementary major to enhance your career options.
